It is often difficult to find one’s way around at trade fairs. A visitor therefore is all the more pleased to find a kiosk, which can help him to find orientation. At airports or hotels kiosks can early provide actual information or awake interest for visiting the trade fair. Using an interactive touch screen, the users can get information with no need in special computer knowledge. On different screens videos, animations or TV can be displayed – at scheduled times or depending on the interactive touch screen. Visitors can register on a kiosks by themselves and get a high security pass (e.g. with RFID Technology) and therefore avoid unpleasant queues.
In the internal area kiosks can show an actual site plan. Via intelligent search options the users can find all exhibitions or presentations (filter criteria: name, company, brand, product category, location, etc). Even directional systems with display or printing of an optimal plan to find the way are possible. The combination of different applications allows integrating particularly innovative solutions, like for example guidance for the visitors – interesting exhibitions according to personal preferences (guided visit). Companies that are not visited can get in touch with visitors themselves (express visit).
Of course kiosks can also display other information about what happens or is offered parallel to the event. Location information, for example for restaurants, may be of interest here. Furthermore the visitors can contact the fair management directly to ask questions or make offers. Kiosks are also suitable for answering surveys, which are proposed at the end of the fair. |
